Meet Elyse
Elyse is a Maine native and proud of it! She may have left for several years, but always knew she’d return. Elyse spent almost a decade traveling around on private yachts working as a self-taught chef. She loves using local ingredients and supporting small local businesses in the great state. Elyse believes that cooking shouldn’t be taken so seriously and food should be used as a medium to bring people together.

Who is Iris, and where is she now?
Iris is where it all started. She was the first iteration of the business, and quickly gained a loyal following, becoming a beloved fixture at events and local gatherings. She was more than just a trailer, she was a mobile celebration of food, family, and community. That experience laid the foundation for what Iris Eats is today: a growing brand that combines passion, quality, and a deep connection to Maine.
Iris resides in the midcoast and can be contracted as a bar for your special event through Midcoast Hospitality. We miss her dearly.
